Nicky has been a part of the Boogie family since June 2003. She grew up on the southside of Milwaukee and is now residing in Neenah. She has three cats- Auggie, Giselle and Gus Gus.
Nicky is a true Sagittarius whose heart is in everything she does, and she does many things. She has a plethora of hobbies which include but are not limited to: crocheting, sewing, gardening, weight lifting, cooking, creating music, karaoke, dancing, horseback riding and musical theatre. Nicky often wears the things she has made onstage: scarves, hats, coats, shirts and dresses. She has even made some of her own jewelry. Before Boogie, she performed in a number of community theatre productions in the Milwaukee area. She was also in two other bands- Kross Eyed Kitty (which has since disbanded) and Mt Olive.
Nicky currently works for Affinity Visiting Nurses as a homecare RN and simply loves her job.
Her favorite TV shows are Top Model (guilty pleasure), So You Think You Can Dance, Project Runway, and The Biggest Loser. Her favorite vocalists are Simone Simons (Epica) and Floor Jansen (After Forever, Revamp). Her favorite bands also include Lacuna Coil, Nightwish, Octavia Sperati, Delain and the Gathering. Her absolute favorite album is ….and the moon was hungry... by Morgan Kibby and the Romanovs.
