Dave was born and raised in West Allis, WI but has lived in New Berlin for the past 11 years with his wife and high school sweetheart Mona. He is the proud parent of his two boys Blade (age 7) and Gavin (age 5).
Dave has been the “center of attention” since childhood singing and dancing to Elvis for his family. Music has always been a huge part of his life growing up. Dave has been playing drums and singing in bands since his teenage years.
He is proud of being part of some very fun and successful past bands such as 76-Juliet, BONK!, Party Patrol, 4to1 and most recently Liquorish. Dave shared lead vocals while playing drums in several of these past bands, but had to give up playing drums after having wrist surgery. He decided to take up the male lead singer position from this point forward.
Lead guitarist of Boogie, Eric Peters, emailed Dave on his availability and interest in joining Boogie in November of 2009… considering his recent layoff from Harley-Davidson in August, it seemed to be “perfect-timing” to join such a high-profile group that plays out as often as they do. Dave joined Boogie and The YoYoZ in December of 2009 and feels his vocal talent and past experience will help take this group “to the next level”.
In his little spare time, Dave is almost ALWAYS involved in home repairs and remodeling, checking out other local bands and national acts, DJing and running karaoke for friends and family or relaxing at home with his wife and kids.
